Sight-reading part 2 chapter 6 exercise 2

Chords part 1
Instructions

In this chapter the exercises contain notes from G major scale.
Triplets are subdivisions: 3 notes of equal length. (e.g. 3 eight notes on a quarter notes time)
Instead of two eight-notes on a beat, there is three eight-notes on the beat.
Usually notated with a “3” on top - or under - the 3 notes.
Accidentals: # raises the note a half step / b lowers the note a half step inside the bar.
An accidental can be removed using a natural.
A syncope is an unaccented beat, not followed by an accented ( e.g. 1 & 3 )
A dotted note extends the note with half its length. (e.g. a dotted quarter note equals the length of 3 eight notes)
Ties connects two notes across beats and bars.
