The elements in this chapter are rhythms based on triplets, quarter- and eight notes and rests.

Learn the definition on the different elements before doing the exercises.

A triplet is a type of tuplet that allows us to play three notes in the time of two notes:

Triplets can be varied using rests or ties:

“Swinging eights” or “swing”: Eight notes must be phrased as triplets, where the first and second are tied together. ( notated as normal eight notes )

You can either be clapping the rhythm, or playing it on your instrument.

The "C" tone fits all the tasks.
