Find the root and chord type on your instrument, while improvising using scale or arpeggio. - notes from the chord. Once the chord is recognised, try to play phrases that defines the chord.

  • Chapter 1: One chord - root is C. Major7, minor7 & dominant 7.
  • Chapter 2: One chord - root is G - F - D & Bb. Major7, minor7 & dominant 7
  • Chapter 3: Two chords - 1.st chord is tonic ( key: C or Am ) - second chord from within the key.
  • Chapter 4: Two chords - 1.st chord is tonic ( key: C or Am ) - second chord from within the key. ( C or Am - G or Em - F or Dm & D or Bm )
